The term "JIT" is commonly used to describe a younger person, usually a child or a teenager.  Adults may be referred to as "JITs" if they are acting immaturely or inappropriately in a given circumstance.  It's used to convey that a person, regardless of age, lacks maturity or experience.  However, referring to an adult as "JIT" might be interpreted as demeaning or ridiculing, therefore peers typically use it in a humorous manner.
