Posted in the topic Looking for Tool that Helps Selective PST Export for Reduce Archive Size in the forum Off-Topic Discussions
    June 15, 2026 2:28 AM PDT

One challenge I frequently encounter with PST files is that they often contain far more data than I actually need. Exporting everything usually creates larger archives and longer processing times.
While using DRS Softech PST Converter, I noticed the advanced filtering options. I was able to export emails based on date ranges and selectively choose folders for conversion. This allowed me to focus only on the relevant mailbox data instead of processing the entire PST file.
The selective export feature helped reduce storage requirements and made the final archive much easier to manage.

Posted in the topic Manual Method vs Professional OneDrive Migration Tool in the forum Off-Topic Discussions
    June 13, 2026 12:09 AM PDT

I've been comparing different ways to move files from OneDrive to iCloud, and I'm curious what others prefer. The manual method is straightforward but requires enough local storage to download everything first. It also takes a significant amount of time if you're working with large accounts. On the other hand, the DRS Softech OneDrive Migration Tool appears to automate much of the process. Features like bulk migration, selective folder transfer, file preview, and folder structure preservation make it sound appealing. I particularly like the idea of reducing the chances of missing files during migration. For users who have tried both methods, was the automated approach worth it? Did it make the migration process faster and less stressful compared to manually handling every file and folder?

Posted in the topic Which Tool Offers Migration From Google Workspace Emails to Other Platforms ? in the forum Off-Topic Discussions
    June 11, 2026 2:58 AM PDT

I was tasked with moving some Gmail data to Office 365 and iCloud, and the DRS Softech Google Workspace Backup Tool migration features in this tool made it straightforward. It supports Gmail, Hotmail, Zoho Mail, IMAP, and even iCloud. The ability to choose full backups or just emails is really convenient depending on the scenario. For example, I did a full backup of one user but only email-specific backups for others. The tool also lets you split large PST files, which prevented corruption during transfer. If you’ve been struggling with cross-platform Workspace migrations, this tool is worth checking out.

Posted in the topic Converting OLM Files While Preserving Attachments and Metadata in the forum Off-Topic Discussions
    June 9, 2026 1:40 AM PDT

One of my biggest concerns when converting Mac Mail archives is losing attachments or messing up email metadata like timestamps, senders, or recipients. I had an archive with thousands of emails that included PDFs, images, and Office files.
The DRS Softech OLM Converter handles this flawlessly. It preserves all attachments, email properties, and folder structures during conversion. I also appreciated the option to include or exclude attachments as needed, which helped reduce file size for specific backup projects. The read-only conversion approach ensured my original OLM files remained untouched, which is always reassuring when working with critical email archives.

Posted in the topic Best Software to Transfer Google Workspace Emails and Calendars to Microsoft 365? in the forum Off-Topic Discussions
    June 5, 2026 3:58 AM PDT

I recently evaluated the DRS Softech Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 Migration Tool for a tenant migration project. The software supports the migration of Gmail emails, contacts, calendars, Google Drive documents, and notes to Office 365 without data loss. For organizations managing multiple users, the account mapping feature is extremely helpful because it automatically maps Google Workspace accounts to their corresponding Microsoft 365 mailboxes. It also provides options to skip folders such as Promotions, Social, Forums, and Updates. Another valuable feature is the "Skip Previously Migrated Data" option, which prevents duplicate migrations when running multiple migration sessions. Overall, the tool offers a smooth and controlled migration experience.
