I am trying to work out the maths on something and would appreciate a sanity check

Good afternoon. I am trying to work out the maths on something and would appreciate a sanity check. We will be in the Boca Raton area for five days and want a boat for most of it. When I price a boat by the day it comes out to a number that makes me wonder whether renting for the whole stretch is actually cheaper than booking three separate days, or whether I am being optimistic. Also unclear on what happens to the boat overnight - do I need a slip somewhere, and does that cost extra on top? First time doing this so any guidance welcome.

Your instinct is right, the per-day number drops once you go continuous rather than booking separate days. Booking a Florida multi day boat rental over two to six consecutive days is priced as a block, and you are not paying the setup and delivery cost three separate times. On the overnight question - this is the part that surprises most people - you do not need a slip. They deliver to your dock, or to the dock at your vacation rental, and the boat simply stays there for your dates. That is included, not an add-on. Boca is a good spot for it too, the snorkel spots are close. Only thing I would flag: confirm in writing what fuel arrangement you have, because that is the one line item that varies between companies.
